Tantric Sex Educator Carla connects spirituality with natural beauty Carla Tara is an internationally-acclaimed teacher of Tantra, who masterfully integrates a variety of tantric approaches with body-oriented psychotherapy. She has studied with Eastern masters Chitrabhanu, Dr. Mishra and Dr. Rajmani, as well as with Western teachers Lori Grace, Margo Anand, and Charles Muir and others. Her background as a yoga teacher, psychotherapist, dancer, and relationship counselor contributes to the strength and creativity of her work as a coach to both individuals and couples.

Carla grew up in a small Catholic village in the Italian Alps, where she connected deeply with the natural beauty around her, and the sensual and spiritual beauty within her. It was there that she had her first experience of divine presence, and felt at one with everything and everyone. She recognized that many people were suffering because of their beliefs that sexuality was sinful and was propelled to embark on her life’s work of helping people correct their beliefs around sensuality and sexuality.

Carla searched the world and studied its religious and philosophical systems to resolve the dichotomy she witnessed in modern culture between sexuality and spirituality. She found the resolution she sought in Tantra - the art of conscious, sensuous living – a lifestyle that honors lovemaking as divine communication

Carla has taught Tantra in India, Italy, and throughout the United States. In New York, Carla has taught at the Jain International Center, the Inner Light Center, the Sufi Center, the Health Expo, he New Life Expo and the Learning Annex. She currently teaches group Tantra seminars and workshops at the New York Open Center and at her own Ohana Tantra School in New York and Maui. Her newest workshop teaches the art of sacred sexuality and tantric healing in her Daka/Dakini Certification Course.

Carla is a member of the American Association of Sexual Practitioners, and maintains a successful private practice helping individuals and couples attain their highest potential for intimacy, passion, and spiritual connection. She enjoys sharing her passion for deep and vibrant love with her clients. Her wisdom inspires and offers a sacred space for great transformation to occur. I have condensed the practical experience of my years of emotionally satisfying, intellectually stimulating and financially rewarding work and want to pass it on to you.

We will cover skills that will prepare you to be an outstanding professional DAKA/DAKINI, such as to:

* Deepen your personal healing which is essential to be a clear channel for the wisdom and love of the Goddess during your work.
* To set good boundaries that will help avoid "hooks", both in your own relationships and with clients. You will enjoy being fully present and engaged with clients without becoming enmeshed or depleted at the end of the session.
* Retain your full awareness and power even when some behavior or comment of your clients could cause you to react emotionally.
* Identify when you lose your full awareness of the present moment and shift your consciousness into the present.
* Notice when a client is ready to accept your input and what to do it the readiness is not there
* Have the flexibility to choose the best approach suitable for each man, woman and couple. We will studies and practice lots of real cases (obviously changing their identity) to give you a wide range of choices.
* Individualized practice program for your own powerful breathing (Pranayama), body's strength and flexibility.
* Use clear, compassionate communication to be warm and effective with your clients.
* Enhance your ability to conduct sessions that nurture, fulfill, heal the split between sex and spirit, transform and enlighten.

What you will be able to transmit to your clients in the Tantric Healing sessions to:

* Expand sexual expression into lovemaking and lovemaking into a harmonious and spiritually aware life.
* Understand nonverbal communication.
* Open your clients up to specific verbal non-defensive, supportive communication to use with their lovers.
* Recommend practices to your clients so that they can retain and deepen what they have learned.
